Refunds and cancellations
Cancel whenever you like and keep the month you paid for. Monthly payments are not refundable — with one exception we do not put conditions on: if Space is not what we advertised, you get your money back.

The policy in four lines
- You can cancel your plan at any time, and you keep the month you have already paid for.
- Monthly payments are not refundable, and a part-used month is not refunded pro rata.
- If Space does not perform as advertised, we refund you — no questions asked.
- A render you paid for that Space does not deliver is made good with an account credit for your next render of the same kind.
The rest of this page says exactly what each of those means, and none of it takes away a right the law gives you.
Cancelling a plan
The account owner or an administrator cancels from Billing, in one step, at any time. There is nothing to write to us about and no notice period.
What cancelling does:
- it stops the next renewal — no further money is taken;
- the period you have already paid for runs to its end, and everything keeps working until then;
- after that, published links stop resolving and shoppers see an unavailable page;
- cancelling does not itself delete your catalogue, your models or your object addresses. An object’s address never changes, so subscribing again brings the same links back.
Monthly payments are not refundable
Space is billed monthly and each month is paid in advance. Once a month has been charged it is not refunded, and a month you cancel part of the way through is not refunded pro rata — you keep the service instead, for the whole period you paid for.
That is the general rule. It exists because cancelling is free, immediate and always available: the way to stop paying for Space is to cancel, not to ask for last month back.
The next clause is the exception, and it is not a narrow one.
If Space is not what we said it was
Not as advertised means a refund, no questions asked
Email space@spacecodestudios.com with the claim and what happened. There is no debugging exercise to work through first, and no repair or replacement to accept instead.
Your rights under the law
Nothing here removes a right the law gives you
Saying “not refundable” does not make something unrefundable if the law says otherwise, and we do not intend it to. If you believe you are owed something under a law this policy does not mention, write to us and say so — it is a better use of everyone’s time than a dispute.
3D rendering: before you pay
A rendering order that has not been paid for can be cancelled by you, from the order itself, at any moment. Nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund and nothing to ask for.
Once the order is paid for it is placed, and cancelling it is no longer a button. The work is committed at that point — staff time, and capacity with the service that produces the model. If you need a paid order stopped, write to us and a person will deal with it.
When a paid render is not delivered
If you paid for a render and it ends without a usable model, Space owes you that render. It is settled automatically, the same way in every case, and you do not have to notice or ask.
It applies to every ending, not just the ones that are our fault:
- the rendering service fails, expires or refuses the job;
- the model comes back but Space refuses it — too heavy, or outside the limits a phone can hold;
- you turn down the proportions;
- you reject the revision outright;
- Space staff stop a paid order.
You are made whole with an account credit, not a card reversal
One failed order produces one credit, and Space queues an email to the account address when it is granted. Credits appear on your Billing screen with the reason they were given. Nothing expires them: an unused credit is still there the next time you order that kind of render, and Space spends it for you.
A render that a credit paid for is not a card payment, so a second credit is not granted automatically if that one also fails. Write to us if it happens — it is settled by a person, not by silence.
How to ask for a refund
Email space@spacecodestudios.com from the address on the account, and tell us:
- what you paid for;
- what Space did instead — or which claim on this site does not match what you got.
That is the whole process. There is no form, no ticket number and no separate refunds department.
What this policy does not cover
This policy is about money paid to SpaceCode Studios (Pty) Ltd for Space. It is not a general goodwill scheme, and the exception above is about a genuine mismatch between what was advertised and what was delivered — not about changing your mind, or about a plan you used and no longer want, which is what cancelling is for.
Everything else about the agreement is in the terms and conditions, and what happens to your information is in the privacy policy.
